ARC Raiders Raider Coins are earned by extracting and selling loot; use smart POI routes, prioritize high value items, upgrade stash and benches, and avoid overloading to keep profits steady.

In ARC Raiders, Raider Coins aren't "nice to have" money—they're your oxygen. If you're short on cash, every raid feels like you're borrowing time. Some folks will point you to marketplaces like U4GM when they want currency or items without the grind, but even if you're earning everything in-game, the rule stays the same: coins come from extracting loot and selling it at the hub. No mobs dropping pocket change. No random piles on the floor. You get paid when you make it out, and that makes every backpack slot a decision.

Where the money actually is

You'll hear people say "just hit high-tier zones," but that's only half true. What matters is how quickly you can fill your bag with stuff that sells. I've had better runs in a "boring" area with tight loot spawns than in a spicy zone where I'm hiding behind crates for ten minutes. Hydroponic Domes tend to cough up processors and components that sell cleanly. Spaceport Towers can be huge, but the vertical routes slow you down and the noise carries. If you want repeatable income, learn one loop you can run fast, then run it until you could do it half-asleep.

Loot like you're renting the backpack

The fastest way to go broke is to treat every item like it's precious. It isn't. Weight sneaks up, your movement gets sluggish, and suddenly you're the easiest target in the lobby. I stick to a simple filter: if it doesn't sell well per slot, it's gone. Also, listen for those little audio cues that hint at higher-tier containers nearby—once you start reacting to sound, your coin rate jumps. And don't "just check one more room" when your route's already paid out. That's how people lose hauls they were already happy with.

Spending coins without sabotaging yourself

New players love shiny guns. I get it. But early on, your real power is space and consistency. First, push stash upgrades so you can hold onto the stuff you'll need later instead of fire-selling it. Second, build up your crafting benches so you're making essentials on demand. Vendor markups can be brutal, and buying every med or utility item adds up fast. Once crafting is stable, then you can start splurging on weapons you actually like using, not whatever you can barely afford.

Play the timer, not your ego

A lot of "bad luck" stories are really time management problems. People overstay, get greedy, and end up sprinting for extraction with an overloaded pack and a panic plan. If the raid clock is getting tight, stop negotiating with yourself and leave. You can always queue again. Over time, you'll build a stash that lets you take smarter fights, and that's when the game opens up—especially once you've got a reliable way to top up supplies or target specific gear like ARC Raiders iteams during your prep.
