So, you’ve been running around Arc Raiders looking for Steel Springs and it’s driving you mad. Feels like every upgrade needs them, right? And when you check your stash… nothing. Been there myself. One tip though – they’re not actually that rare. You just need to know where to poke around, and what’s worth cracking open. Think old machinery, repair shops, anything with a whiff of industrial work. Oh, and while you’re at it, grabbing a few extra ARC Raiders Coins can make the grind feel a lot smoother.
Your best bet? Those battered red toolboxes and workshop cabinets you see tucked in corners. Don’t walk past them – they’ve got a solid drop rate for springs and other mechanical bits. I’ve had good runs in abandoned garages, dusty factory floors, and those maintenance tunnels linking big areas. They’re often crammed with lootable containers if you take the time to check. And don’t forget to pop the hoods or trunks of derelict cars and trucks. Sure, sometimes it’s junk, but often you’ll find springs hiding there. Takes seconds, worth it every time.
If you fancy a proper farming run, the Xyon Processing Plant out east is a goldmine. Big place, packed with bots, so gear up before you head in. The workshops and assembly lines are loaded with tool chests. I usually focus on the smaller maintenance rooms off the main floor – they’re easy to miss but often have the best loot. If you want something less intense, the Rusted Shipyard is a decent shout. It’s spread out, so you’ll be jogging between spots, but the shipping containers and maintenance sheds there deliver springs pretty regularly without throwing too many high-level enemies at you.
Another thing players overlook – scrap the mechanical ARC enemies you take down, especially the smaller, speedy ones. They’ve got a fair chance of dropping springs along with other parts. It’s not going to fill your inventory in one go, but it adds up if you’re consistent. Once you get used to spotting the right loot spots and learn the layout of these industrial zones, you’ll start building a healthy stash. And when that happens, crafting upgrades stops feeling like a wall you keep smashing into. Keep at it, and maybe mix in a few rounds for the ARC Raiders Battle pass while you’re farming – makes the grind feel way more rewarding.[/url]
