| I noticed that some non-tournament capsules, like the old En some or Sugarface sets, aren't actively promoted on the main in-game dashboard anymore. Does Valve actually remove community capsules from the game completely, or do they just shift them into the rare drop pool where you can only get them after leveling up or buying from the market?

| They rarely remove them entirely; instead, they just rotate the store front and put older series into the standard end-of-match drop table.

| Items are almost never gone forever unless there is a severe copyright issue with the artwork, meaning the total supply quietly keeps growing via random post-match rewards. To see which specific sets have been moved to the background or to check the distinction between limited esports containers and permanent additions, you visit here for a complete chronological look at the game's item distribution history. Understanding how these containers are classified helps you avoid overpaying for an item that you think is extinct, when in reality, it's just sitting quietly in a different section of the global drop pool.
