Hi all, need to pick your brains. Wife and I are retiring next year and moving from cold Cleveland to the Florida coast - we've been planning this for a decade and finally pulled the trigger on a place near Sarasota. The catch is we've accumulated 30 years of stuff including some real heirlooms - my wife's grandmother's china cabinet, my dad's tool collection, a piano we refuse to sell. Need a moving service in Florida that can receive shipments coming from out of state and handle valuables properly. Doing some of this in stages too because the new place needs work first.

The piano went under their special moving service, the china cabinet got blanket wrap and custom crating, the tool collection went into a wardrobe box per their suggestion. They offered a free month of storage which we used while the new house got painted and the floors redone. The fixed quote held - no surprise charges for stairs or distance to the truck. Insurance was tiered so we put the heirlooms on the higher coverage level.
