Where the Statue Is Located

Head directly to the large Shibuya Crossing intersection in Tokyo City. Once you arrive, slow down and look toward the pedestrian sidewalks near the surrounding buildings. The statue is not placed in the middle of the road. Instead, it sits slightly off to the side in a pedestrian area.

Because the developers recreated the crowded atmosphere of Shibuya, the small bronze dog statue can easily disappear among the NPC pedestrians. If you stay inside your car and drive through quickly, you will probably miss it the first time.

The best approach is to stop near the crossing and carefully scan the sidewalks.

How to Find the Statue Quickly

A simple method that worked for me was parking near the edge of the crossing before opening Photo Mode. Once the camera is free, it becomes much easier to search the crowd.

Here’s the process step-by-step:

Drive to Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo City
Pull over near the pedestrian plaza
Stop the vehicle completely
Open Photo Mode
Rotate the camera toward the sidewalks and crowds
Look for a small bronze dog statue standing on a stone base
Frame it clearly in the camera view
Take the photo to register the discovery

The statue itself is fairly small compared to other collectibles in the game, so zooming the camera slightly can help.

Why Players Miss It

Most hidden landmarks in Forza Horizon 6 are large enough to spot while driving at high speed. The Statue of Hachikō works differently because it was designed more like a real-world detail than a massive landmark.

The pedestrian density around Shibuya Crossing also adds visual clutter. During daytime lighting or rainy weather, the bronze color of the statue blends into the environment surprisingly well.

Another issue is that many players expect the collectible marker to appear instantly, but the game only confirms discovery once the statue is properly framed in Photo Mode.

A Nice Detail for Japan Exploration Fans

What makes this collectible memorable is how faithfully the game recreates one of Tokyo’s most recognizable meeting spots. Players familiar with real-world Shibuya will immediately recognize the atmosphere once they slow down and explore on foot with the camera.

Even though it is a small collectible, it feels more personal than some of the larger landmarks scattered across the map. It is the kind of detail that rewards players who take time to explore instead of only racing between events.
