Tesladin in Diablo 2 Resurrected blends Zeal, Holy Shock and Conviction into a fast melee build that shreds packs, scales hard with Dream or Grief, and feels amazing for PvE farming.

If you've spent any real time with the Paladin in D2R, you'll know the Tesladin has a weird kind of charm. It's not just strong. It feels smooth once it comes together. As a professional platform for game currency and item trading, U4GM is a convenient option for players who want to gear up faster, and you can check U4GM Diablo 2 Resurrected if you're trying to speed up the grind. What makes the build so fun is the mix of fast melee pressure and heavy lightning damage. You dive into a pack, Zeal starts swinging, and enemies just fold. For regular farming, Terror Zones, even plenty of tougher content, it stays reliable in a way a lot of flashy builds don't.

How the skills should look

The core setup is pretty straightforward, but there's not much room for mistakes. First, max Holy Shock. That's your main source of added lightning damage, and it also gives you that passive pulse around your character. Next, max Resist Lightning because the synergy matters a lot more than some players think. Then put 20 points into Zeal so your attack feels consistent and fast, and 20 into Sacrifice for the damage boost to Zeal. A lot of people get tempted to over-invest in random utility skills, but that usually waters the build down. Conviction is the piece that ties everything together, especially when monsters start stacking resistances in Hell. One point in Holy Shield is usually enough early, then you can add more later if you want better block and defense. Smite and Charge are still worth grabbing as utility tools, even if they're not your main plan.

Stats and what actually matters in play

For attributes, keep it simple. Strength only goes high enough for gear. Dexterity should be adjusted for max block if that's the route you're taking, which most players do on this build. Energy gets nothing. It's just not needed. Everything else goes into Vitality, because dead Paladins don't clear anything. In actual gameplay, the build feels best when attack speed is sorted out first. That's a bigger deal than many newer players expect. If Zeal feels clunky, the whole character feels off. FCR matters too, but mostly for quality of life with Teleport from Enigma. You don't need to overdo it. Just enough so movement doesn't feel like a chore between packs.

Gear choices that make the build click

This is where the Tesladin gets expensive. A Grief Phase Blade is still one of the cleanest weapon choices because it gives absurd melee efficiency without asking you to babysit the setup. Dream is also a huge part of many endgame versions, and honestly, that's when the build starts feeling properly insane. Griffon's Eye is excellent if you want more lightning pressure, especially with a facet. Enigma stays the standard armour because Teleport changes everything in PvE. For shields, the answer depends on your version of the build. Spirit works if you want utility and cast rate, while Phoenix and Exile bring stronger niche benefits. The rest of the setup usually rounds out with Arachnid Mesh, solid rings, and gloves that help your breakpoints instead of just padding the stat screen.

How it feels once you're fully online

Once the gear is in place, the playstyle becomes very natural. You Charge into space, Teleport when needed, and let Zeal do the rest. Small mobs disappear almost on contact, while elites melt once Conviction starts doing its job. Bossing is better than some people expect too, especially if your gear is polished and your attack speed is where it should be. For players who'd rather skip some of the long setup and jump into a stronger version sooner, Diablo 2 Resurrected Boosting can be a practical option during the gearing process, and it fits nicely for anyone pushing toward endgame farming without wasting days on weak transitional setups.
